EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUES - EFT: 

EFT is a form of acupuncture only one uses tapping to clear blocked emotion stored around the meridian points of the body.  EFT is used to assist clients in clearing away trauma by doing something physical, in this case tapping, whilst eliminating blockages and restoring the clients body to a point of balance.  The positive becomes a reality and client finds habits are a thing of the past and has a tool for ongoing healing and development that can be practiced anywhere.

Founder Gary Craig states that "The cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body's energy system" EFT works at releasing negative emotions whilst doing the physical action of 'tapping' around key meridian points.  A fantastic tool once you have gained the know-how to practice anywhere without the need for years or long-term therapy.  An amazing tool to discharge negativity exposed on a day-to-day basis allowing for a freer, more relaxed and rewarding life.

EFT is the best therapy to work on issues where negative self-talk has created experiences such as poor self-image, failed relationships, feelings of anxiety, loneliness, improve your self-image...any condition for which your mind-talk has in the past gotten the better of you and stopping you from positively experiencing the here and now...EFT.

EFT is good at treating most Emotional and Psychological Issues. It offers the physical release of emotional blockages necessary to effectively change long-held beliefs and thought patterns based on past emotional experience.

emdr - eye movement and desensitisation and reprocesssing:

Along with EFT I also have experience in EMDR which I also use in my sessions.  EMDR is a perfect accompaniment to EFT and those that experience it see the benefits almost immediately.

EMDR is a relatively new therapy which has been found to help people recover from trauma.  EMDR is unusual becuase with something as simple as eye movements or tapping and accompanying free-association, it can achieve in relatively few sessions what other therapies would take years to achieve if at all.

EMDR can work for some issues, such as a specific anxiety or phobia, in just a session.  More usually, it can take place over a series of sessions based on an eight phase system which has been tried and tesed.

Thought EMDR was initially used for Post Traumatick Stress Disorder, it has also been found to have somoe success on panic attacks, anxiety, addictions, dissociative disorders, disturbing memories, stress reduction, complicated grief, physical or sexual abuse, stage fright, public speaking, phantom limb pain and pain in general.

EFT is available as one-to-one, group or within the context of Personal Performance Coaching Sessions.
